Cold changes the performance of batteries, oil and electronics. These are the points to check.
Power: electric or lithium
In enclosed cold rooms, electric or lithium trucks are used because they emit no exhaust. The manufacturer states standard electric heating on some lithium models for refrigerated warehouses; tell us your working temperature and we will verify it.
Condensation moving in and out
Sudden temperature changes cause condensation on electrical components. Ask about the protection rating and avoid moving the machine between warm and cold zones when not necessary.
Hydraulic oil and tyres
Request hydraulic oil suited to low temperatures and, on smooth wet floors, solid tyres with good grip.
Cab and operator comfort
A heated enclosed cab reduces fatigue and mistakes. Ask about this option depending on the model.
