Made-to-order or in-stock machinery
Stock means fast delivery; made to order means the exact configuration you need. It depends on how much of a hurry you are in.
The three routes
| Criterion | Made to order (factory) | Importer stock | Premium brand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lead time | Around 3 months from the order | Days to a few weeks | Weeks or months depending on availability |
| Configuration | To your spec: engine, cab, attachments | Whatever is in the warehouse | The brand's fixed range |
| Price | Tight: no stock margin | Medium, includes storage cost | Higher |
| Service | Coordinated by the seller | Depends on the importer | Official network |
When ordering from the factory pays
- You need a specific configuration (cab, engine, attachments).
- You buy several units or a fleet and want to tighten the price.
- You can plan delivery with a few months in hand.
When stock pays
If the machine has to work next week, you need stock. A factory order is no use for an emergency. Tell us your real deadline and we will honestly say whether it fits.
